The seat in my 72 GS has 2 switches and a toggle----one runs the seat fore and aft the other does what o No: ----it just "whirs" but nothing is happening. Where it is at least running I would like to get it going--in what direction? Tipping? Up and down? Thanks
Correct....switches are for up and down. You need to remove the mechanism from the seat and car and go thru it. Most common is dried grease causing erratic operation. Good time to lube the drive cables with lithium grease.
