Need help converting a manual bench to power bench. If someone has a power bench out of a car.. I have the assembly manual and I see how the motor sits, but what about the switch? Where is the proper location to mount it? Do I need to drill and tap holes into the bence frame?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :beers2:

I believe all bench seats have a punched rectangle hole for the seat switch. There is a small metal bracket that screws into the side seat rail and then the switch screws into that bracket. Don't have any pics to help you.

  4. If you still need more info, I will be removing my factory 4 way power bench from my 69 skylark soon for repairs. Let me know.

Back to the top. Would like an underside shot as well. Tried to PM 72lesabrecustom w/o reply. Please, if anyone has a few shots of the underside of a power bench seat with the power unit still attached, I would appreciate some pics.
    Thanks
