One of my oldest and best friends works for PPG in there powder coat div. He tests powder everyday and did these for me. They have a small oven and can do small parts for guys free. I sold these to a board member Before I had this done and he gave me time to try this out and see if I could make them look better. What do you guys think ?

Looks great! I might have tried to powdercoat the grills in a chrome color and then hand paint the black areas.

The Chrome is covered. In order to get it to cover really well he had to heat the part up and he could not keep the powder from sticking to all parts of it. I like the flat black look. kind of looks evil LOL

You can get some high temp tape and tape them up. This may help not hurt the chrome but this was done for FREE.

The only concern I'd have is that if corrosion is causing the plating to lift to begin with, the powder will come off with it.

    Devon,
That was a concern I had as well. Mike blasted and cleaned these parts REALLY well and my guess is they will hold up for a very long time to come.
