Dan, you are killing me with the flying intake!!!!
I was the one who did the dyno test with the T/A vs stock, I actually called Mike at T/A to see if he would send me one to use for the test and if the results were favorable I would buy it from him, he said that once I installed it it was mine!
Actually he was nice about it and was curious about the findings as well since it had been a very long time that anyone had dyno tested his intake!
I like T/A very much and have bought all my parts through them except for my intake, I paid $30 for my iron unit from some nice guy in Minnesota!

    Flying intakes

    Dan,

    Loved the pics man!!!

I think the key to the aluminum intakes is porting work in the heads. If you have really good flow numbers and headers the intake will help. If you have stocker heads like most of us, the stock intake works darn well.

I love the fact that others are seeing the possibilities of the Buick 350! The more of us there are building them, the more knowledge we can get out about what works at what combination levels. The total combo of the engine/trans/chassis package is key in the small CI engines. I've been playing with them for over 10 years and I know I've spent $$$ on parts that didn't play well together.

I also know after the excellent time I had in Salem, there's a few more big-blocks I can show the taillights of my 350 powered GS! There's a certain maroon GS400 that was one of my closest races all weekend! He got me on the top end, 13.85 to 13.88, the plate said "MoMoter" and he may need it with some of the awesome small-blocks being put together on this board!

Now if I could just learn to port a head like Greg Gessler!!

 Stop it Dan. People are looking at me funny at work. They're probably wondering why I'm laughing hysterically at my computer screen.
