As I was reading the thread from 70SportWagon (Chris) regarding someone calling asking him if he knew where they could buy titles and vins for GSs, I thought back to Darryl Roederer's thread where he informed us all that he either had lost in a fire, or had stolen, his prized rides. It took me a while to find Darryl's orginal thread since I couldn't remember his name. As far as Chris's thread was concerned, just because he lives in Minn doesn't mean that the car in question did not come from another state. I think we all need to be able to communicate any vehicle theft to all the fellow V8 members and it would be a good idea to have a centralized place for listing stolen cars.

Hmmm, given our not-too-small membership in here maybe we should have a forum for stolen items/cars, and a FAQ on how to best protect, recover, or insure them!
