I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have a 71 GS 455 and i am trying to find a 12 bolt posi rear end for the car. I was wondering if a 12 bolt posi from a chevelle will fit or is there any other rear end posi that will do..
Pretty much a bolt in. I had to switch to a different driveshaft and front yoke as well as put in u-joints that match Chevy to Buick. Mine might have been a special case because former owner had the wrong tranny yoke and driveshaft in the car.
A Chevelle, GTO/LeMans, Monte Carlo, Olds 442/Cutlass, ElCamino from 70-72 should all fit without a problem.

How many do you want? I have a 4.10 12 bolt posi in the shop that could be put back together. 64 to 72 cehevelle will work, 64 to 67 is 1.5 inches narrower than the rear-end you have, still bolts up the same. I have a 68 to 72 housing unit available. Jim Burek P.A.E. ENTERRPISES
