Is it worth porting the intake manifold to gasket match if your not doing the heads? From what i've heard it is actually worse to have a dramatic change on a turbulance stand point. but I suppose if anyone has flow numbers on the diffrence that would be appricated. or did i just answer my own question and I should only then match the intake ports? if there is a diffrence. NO, It will cause a reduction in flow due to turbulance caused by the mismatched edges on the smaller stock head openings. Intake manifold port openings should not be larger than head ports. Greg
