Isn't the reach on those plugs too long??? They shouldn't be in the chamber so deep???

I would agree they seem to long in threads, what plug number is that

They are R 44 LTS plugs, the long “L” reach ones. Should I go back to the R 44TS plugs?
    The difference is below

    Is it detonating?

The long reach plugs although not correct place the spark further out and increase compression slightly and do make more power. Threads might glow and cause detonation if motor is on the edge. The Champion non resistor version was BN-9Y. I swear it was worth a tenth.....:D

And that is exactly why I did it^

Since I now will be running about 8:1 dynamic compression I will be going back to the TS style plugs to avoid detonation.
