According to my suppliers I cannot buy a new pitman arm for my 71 skylark from Moog or trw:Do No: . Does anyone have leads on new pitman arms? thanks Gord

Usually the pitman arm does not go bad, get a good used one. Idler arms are available.

Is this for an ps car or manual car?

I guess its a non-wear part, but I bought everything else new so i thought what the heck...it is a power steer car. I did buy a quick ratio box and figured I save the work of pulling the pitman from the old box, i guess i'll pull it and clean it up. thanks guys.

If for some reason you still need to buy a new one. Year One offers them.

I think Cars and OPG may list them as well but those things cost about $140 NEW! Check with GM as well as that must be where they get them. If Year One tells you 3-4 weeks that is where they get them.
