    Hi All,

I have recently purcahsed a 455 Stage 1 and was wondering if the pistons that came with the engine were forged the serial # inside of them is ended with the letter "F" I assumed that this was to say that they were forged am I wrong in assuming this. Don't want to put the engine back together and slag the pistons. I'd be pretty pissed:af: . Thanks for your help.

    Forged or Not

Stock cast pistons will safely handle a small 125 shot without worrys. Just make sure to set up the system right. Running lean is where the majority of problems come from. Run a fuel pressure cut off switch and a rpm window switch to keep things together. On a small 125 shot you can run 32 degees timing and not notice any real loss in performance on motor.

So I guess the F doesn't stand for forged then. I was probably going to be running the holley blue fuel pump so this should keep me from running lean. Any suggestions what nitrous system I should go with??

    Thanks for the info,

    Gerald
