Hi all, Brad Rezac (chrome yellow), Greg and I are planning a picnic for Omaha area Buick enthusiasts on Sept 4th at 11:00, at Lake Zorinsky in Omaha. If you are interested let us know. Brad will be getting the meat. Greg and I can spring for condiments and some side dishes. The picnic shelter has a grill so that is provided. Bring a cooler with your favorite beverage (no alcohol, park rules) and if you would like something for the grill bring that along as well. There is a playground nearby for the kiddies and modern facilities are also nearby. If you like to fish bring your poles, but not your trunks (no swimming) And most importantly bring your Buicks. Hope to see you all on the 4th.
Eric, We would love to come, but I think there is a Chicago thing that day, but we'll make it by you one of these days, thinking maybe spring, when we take Dana's mom home to Iowa. Sounds like a good time, hope you have fun. Beth
If I'm still working up here then, you can count me in. I get bored when I'm in town, and would like to meet some of the other members in the area. (In addition to Bill ) Jeff
Hey Jeff, sound good. Come on up. If you need directions let us know. Dana & Beth, Come on out, We would love to see your sporty.
Cool beans Rob, Your on the list. That makes 4 possibly 5 so far. I'll be trying to guess which one of your unique Buicks you'll be bringing. Greg said bring Mike Atwood to, if he can travel yet that is. This invite is far all buick enthusiasts who want to come for one last picnic be fore the snow flies. If you don't already have plans that weekend come on out.
Patrick... Good to hear you are coming. I may have to bring the rabbit ears for the game. Although I am not holding my breathe on the season, but I can hope, can't I? See you on the fourth!!:TU:
shaping up to be a real good time. i am ashamed to say but, is the big reds first game on tv? been so busy this summer have not had time to keep up. brad
Re: Patrick... Word of warning! Don't adjust the "knob" between Greg's rabbit ears!!! Hey Eric. I'll try to stop by too. Depends on what in-laws got planned.
2 Weeks Only 2 more weeks to go!! We have shelter #4 reserved for this day at Lake Zorinsky. PM me for directions and I will bring you in. Just a quick question for everyone attending. Do we need to get a beer permit? It is possible to get one if someone would like to have one or two. Let me know and I will get ahold of the Parks Department to get a permit. See everybody in 2 weeks. :TU:
here is a map hope this helps some. The red star is the intersection of 156th St. & F St. Head north from here to the top of the hill and take the first left into the picnic area.
This is still on, Mike, rain or shine. The shelter is covered and the outlook forecast looks good!!:TU: See ya there!!
