Hey guys! I just got a new digital camera and have not figured out the best way yet to get small, postable, web-friendly photos yet. Can anyone help me resize some biggies so I can post them for folks on my "parts car for sale" post? I do not have time to play with the camera/software yet. Thanks in advance.
FYI - David G posted links to free resizing software some time ago. If you do a search you should be able to find the post easily. Once the software is loaded on your machine, its REALLY easy to resize and post. Even I can do it! (yes reallyp )
If you want, you can email me the pics (mechacode7[at]charter[dot]net) and I'll resize them for you OR you can resize them using mspaint (which comes on every computer with windows). Just open them with mspaint after you have them on your computer and change the attributes.
Resizing / Posting Pics Go to www.fookes.com and download their 'FREE' software called Easy Thumbnails. It's easy to use and is very user friendly for those of us that are 'computer challenged' . o No: :TU:
Thanks for your help guys. It was easier than I thought to download and use this stuff. Got em resized and posted! Cool deal!
I thought I would throw this out to everyone as it is not always easy to shrink a file with out losing image size and quality. ftp://ftp3.ulead.com/pub/Trial/Ssaver/Ussp30to.exe Ulead Smart Saver 3.0 I have used that program for ever. It will shrink the file size of any image 50% or more with out and image quality loss. note that program only shrinks the file size. a 3meg pic will be shrunk smaller, like 1meg. The size of the pic 1024x768 doesn't change. just the file size on disk. Making it possible to post large pics with a small file size.
Posting Photos Gonna try both these software programs and see how they work out - thanks for the info !:beer
