Pic request: looking for pics of raised white letters on full sized Buicks

Alas, many of you may frown upon my decision to put raised whites on my luxo-liner instead of white walls, but my mind is pretty much made up.

I'm after pics of full-sized Buicks wearing 5x5 rallys and raised white lettered tires. I want to make sure 100% this is the look I want before I buy tires. Thanks.

 

Here's an old pic of my fiirst Buick with a fresh set of Goodyear Eagle STs. I though it looked fine, but then that was the '80's....I'm not keen on the look thirty years later.

The Buick Rallye wheels are not really popular in Europe, they remind people too much of 70's Opel rims.

 

I thought it was relavent since both our cars are big, yellow, and have 4 doors. :TU:

Does anyone here have a set of ribbed caps (like on the '66 Cat in the first pic) they'd be willing to part with? I know they aren't right for my Electra but I really like them.

Call them. The Wildcat that they have for sale in the pic section (page 2 especially) is in the yard now and it has the rallye wheels with caps. Beautiful car back when they took the pics of it.

Yes! I love it. Now I don't feel alone with my opinion anymore. I seriously want a set of those caps!

 

So I ended up ordering a set of 235/60/R15 BFG Radial T/A's. Thanks everyone for persuading me!

Stop using the board's bandwidth by using the attachment function, upload your photos to a hosting site like Photobucket :TU:

 

Can you change to 70's or 75's? the 60's may not be tall enough!

 

Agree with Ted... 70 suits the Electra better.

You've already made up your about RWL; IMHO RWL suits 2 dr and WW suits 4 door/full size better.
