What's with these EBAY people claiming leather upholstery on like a 64 Skylark and a 1968 Riv? Sure it was meant to LOOK like leather but smell it for God's sake! I ask em who put the leather in and they say factory and get all bent outta shape. I guess it was called "leatherette" back then but NO animal was involved! Bruce
I know! I've seen ads describing vinyl as leather also. :spank: I think that same '68 Riv ad you refer to is the latest one I've seen. Are they really fooled? This is the animal they get vinyl from! (If you remember these, you are showing you're age.)
I've seen it too....and quite frankly never knew for sure...... So, REAL LEATHER was not an option, on say, 68-72 A-Bods ??? Just "Pleather" ???
Come on now, what about corenthian (sp?) leather, as I understood it, tons of cars came with this genuine leather!
aw, kurt beat me to it. LOL those poor nauga's keep dying because somebody wants their hydes. LOL henry
Naugas Man! I haven't seen a Nauga in YEARS! Anybody take somebody else (or been yourself) Nauga-Hunting? I'm gonna go set some live traps, see if I can catch one of the little fellers...:bglasses:
