Pcv

    Did the 455 have a PCV valve? my valve cover only has two holes ,one for the filler cap & one for the tube that runs to the air cleaner.

    Sure, in the intake manifold, behind the carb.

    so does it run from there to the carb?

    Yes from the valve at the back of the manifold to to port for the pcv system on the carb.

    And the port is in the front of the carb
