Just go to your auto parts store and buy 3/8 fuel line.

That's what I did too, but I'd like to have the molded one eventually.

I might just use 3/8 line for now but I'd like the molded hose eventually. $20 at stage1restoration.com is fair. Thank you!

The hose is special . It is designed not to colapse after high vacuum and fuel laden fumes pass through it . It is called PCV / Ventilation hose and is 11/32 " . the hose wall is very thick .

That being said , yes 3/8 gas line will work but is not correct for the application . It will suck closed . Do yourself a favor and get the correct hose from Todd . It is cheap enough at $20 .

I forgot to mention that it is also the correct hose for Vacuum brake boosters . Gates carries it under # 27232 . a 3 foot length from Amazon was like $12 .

    FYI,
There were originally 2 different hoses,
one fits a 70 and the other fits the 71-72 cars.
