Parts Place Lighted rearview mirror

Has anyone purchased the below item from the Parts Place? Is it as good as a restored mirror? any evaluations welcome. Need to get one done or purchase this.

I bought one about 4 years ago while having my original restored. Plan was to use it until the original came back and then maybe sell. The repop was very nice. I have no complaints. When my original came back, I kept that in a box and continued using the repop. It is a nice piece.

How did the restoration come out and what did it cost?

 

I used the mirror lady, but she has since retired. I think there is someone on the board here who does it. Can't quite remember who it is at the moment, but I will post when I recall

I bought a Parts Place repop lighted mirror From Todd and it's pretty nice. I can post a few pics later if anybody wants. Mine is still in the box.

 

It'd be interesting to compate side by side to an orig.

 

I don't know if this is accurate or not, but I have read that the replacement mirrors use a flat piece of glass instead of a wedge shaped piece and that the flat glass impacts how well the day/night function of the mirror works.
