We know we have a rare car. We have found that only 4000 of these cars were made. WE need a windshield, clock that runs, milage meter, dashboard cover for starters. This 79 is still in good repair but the leather has cracked from sitting and the few minor repairs we have done has kept it running. Now we would like to refurbish original parts that can be replaced to make the car really shine. This car is a yellow and white car, plenty of leg room and runs very well. If anyone out there has seen one, or knows where to find parts, please let me know. We have found one in Utah and one in WV.
Which Buick model line is the car? Pics would be great. I've never heard of it but love to learn something new every day!
Buick LeSabre special edition model. I remember test driving a new Palm Beach edition with my Father back then. Beautiful car! Kind of a Creamy yellow color if I remember correctly He ended up buying an Olds 98. ou:
Keep an eye on Ebay,I've seen a couple of these cars there and some parts for them as well. The windshield and the clock should be standard fare, when it comes to door panels and other parts with the special color, that's when it will get tough.I'm always searching for '79 parts there, they're far in between but they show up once in a while.Good luck.
Theres a Palm Beach in a local boneyard. I haven't been there in a year or so. Sorry, I can't offer picking services. No time. Anyway, Its called Feezles and its in Ohioville PA.
