Had purchased a 69 buick riviera to find out it has a 340 2 barrel. Motor runs great but carb needs rebuilding, selling due to changing it to a 455.

If you want to sell it whole I'd mention how many miles are on it if you know (again, if it's a 67 in a 69 who knows!)
The last 340 someone offered here ended up being parted out and that was a Hi-comp 4-bbl version.

i might be interested in some of the parts if you decide to part it out.

Not sure on miles now since its not original motor, give you a great deal on motor if interested? What parts did you need?

Motor sounds good just needs carb rebuilt, you can hear run if interested.
    Thanks

Tony, you'll have to go about this a bit differently. This "Leads" section is for a sale you've heard about somewhere else and are just passing the info along, so this ad is in the wrong place.

To sell the engine whole, I'd post it that way in "Parts for Sale". Make sure you read the "for sale" rules up front...you'll need to set a price and give each person who replies a shot at it in the order that they reply. Put in your post that you're willing to sell the parts separately so people know when you decide you've waited long enough.

If you get no bites on the thing complete, take it to the next step of selling it in pieces, and when someone is interested in specific parts, you state a price for those parts. That's pretty much it.
