My parking brake pedal is stuck on the floor. The cables are broken, so it doesn't do anything anyway (I have new cables in hand; it's on "the list" ) to fix , but it being on the floor blocks the dimmer switch.

Phil Green is going to drive it at night at the Brand X Bash in two weeks, and I thought I'd try to remove it or at least release it for the trip.

I have looked up under there a few times and pulled and pushed things, but access is limited and I don't really know how it works. I have a factory chassis manual, but it doesn't detail R&R of the pedal assembly. Maybe a body manual would :Do No: ?

Does anybody who ever did a complete assembly or have this issue have any ideas???

    Thanks in advance!! :beer

if you look under, there is usually a little tab, on top of the the pedal, if you pull it back it releas it manually, and if that don,t work, just pull it and with other hand push the pedal back it should come back off easy
