I am in the the early stages of restoring a 67 GS400 and I have encountered something peculiar. The rear park brake cables are bare, has no spiral casing on them. There are brackets that mount on the front mounting bolts of the lower control arms which guide the cable but there is no solid mounting on the front of the cable. They also have a hard plastic piece towards the back that holds the boot that seals to the brake backing plate.I can not find anyone who has ever seen anything like this before. If you have any knowledge of this piece please share. Thanks in advance.......Ryan
p.s. I am almost positive that this is the factory cable.
