I threw 19 degrees down, 100% force, and 1 degree up on the wings. It skims the ground and then goes up and away.

    How'd you get 106, Alan?

    the best!

I just got 116.6561ft! Woo Hoo!

Edit: rather than cluttering the post w/ more replies ill just post the NEW best of 227.3683ft!!!
32 angle 100% thrust and 0 on the wings, the trick is, you can change the angle in the middle of the flight

Well, that didn't last long! About 12 degrees down, 100% force, and 8 degrees up on the wings.

    ok, I cheated...

    152.7292 feet.

You can change the angle of the plane while it is flying, so all you have to do is get it pretty high up, and then keep it at the right angle. I could probably hit 200' this way if I were more patient.

    hmm..

200+ feet on my first throw.

can't hit it again though. just keep hitting that button to rase the angle again.

I am behind a firewall which will not allow an active-x component to pass through. There is nothing I can do about it as it is outside of my control.

Is there a way that the shockwave player can be installed as an executable file without having to go through the Macromedia site?

    not that I can find

Looks like all roads lead back to Rome on that one. Tried a half-dozen download sites, and they all came back to macromedia for the install.

    Wish I could help ya.

Thanks Freed, That's the same thing I discovered. Not fair, I wanna fly a plane.

OK. I'm bored with it now...

Peak altitude of 2257.166 feet, and a distance of -64,043.3 feet in 138.1 seconds aloft. Or, a throw of roughly 12 miles in distance with an average speed over 300 miles per hour. Man is my arm tired!!!

It's a killer bug. I could have gone on forever, I think.

Yea...I found a good bug too. The plane loops foward, slows, then loops backward 3 or more times Excelerating !!!!
