Driver quality pair of sport mirrors. Came off a 70 Olds 442. Head shells and bases in good shape. Paint to match your car. Driver mirror glass is good with only a few minor scratches. Passenger mirror glass is just OK. It has several scuffs as seen in last picture. Mirror coating is good, but scuffs show up depending on the lighting and viewing angle. You can buy replacement glass if you want a nicer looking part. Comes with all mounting hardware shown in pics EXCEPT MISSING DRIVER MIRROR MOUNTING BRACKET. $75 shipping anywhere in lower 48 states. Paypal preferred.
From what I've read the mirrors are the same for the BOP A-body and only the gasket is different for buick. It has an angled shape to match the door contour. These come with the angled gaskets. I never mounted these on my car. I had two sets of mirrors and am selling this extra pair.
they arent 70 cutlass,,,70 cutlass are very special and unique... i heard all ya do is turn the gasket 180 and it works on the skylark door, never tried it
OK, let me clarify then. I was told they came of a 70 442 when I bought them. So I'm relying on the original sellers info. And maybe they weren't even original to the Olds to start with. They match the Buick mirrors I just installed, so maybe they were Buick mirrors added to the Oldso No:
Randy, Interested can you take the base apart and give me the part numbers? And any numbers on the plastic gasket? Thanks Nelson
They are not 71-72 chevelle mirrors as the base is not shaped correctly. They are probably camaro or nova sport mirrors. Nelson
Nelson, Here are the p/n's I found: Driver Side- Base 52822 Housing 52821 mirror 52823 gasket 9832126 Passenger Side- Base 60526-501 Housing 60578-402 mirror 29844 gasket 9832126
I believe they are camaro sport mirrors. When I was looking someone sold me a pair of camaro sport mirrors as buick sport mirrors. I wanted the real buick sport mirrors but I was told these would work if you turn the gasket upside down. Most of the sport mirrors I have seen sold on here were the camaro sport mirrors. You have a very fair price on yours and also early enough not to have the objects closer than appear on the right mirror. Thanks for the info and good luck with the sale<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<o></o> Nelson <o></o> <o></o> Camaro base gasket 9832126<o></o> Camaro early 60526-501<o></o>
