I once saw (on TV) a '69 Camaro with a '57 Chevy inspired custom paint job. I liked it, and wondered what a similar treatment would look like on a Buick. '56 inspired two-tone on a '70 Skylark. (top color could be anything). What do you think of it?
I think that paint scheme takes something away from the beautiful sweeping 'A' body lines. I wouldn't recommend it, but to each their own.
I agree with Marco-that paint scheme takes away from the good looks that these cars have. These cars had what was called 'progressive rolled stamping'and you can see this from the wheel flares to where it blends into the body. Really sharp.
I kinda like it - but think it would "appeal" more on a race-car where non-stock paint schemes are mostly seen.
I kinda like it, a little bit of work here and there. But I like the "sweepspear" I always thought It would look good on a boattail, two tone paint like that.
I've always thought it would be a cool idea to use the same port hole configuration to route exhaust thru the body in either one of two ways: #1
How about rigging an intake through the port holes, Kinda like running six hoses into a modified air breather. (I think I'm hijacking this thread)
