I see people asking about paint all the time, i found this, and did some research, and people really seem to be happy, some shops use this clear daily and love it..heres a cheap way to get some paint...the only thing is, no special mixed colors, you loook thru the list and buy the colors they have, there are a few that are close to GM colors like aqua, etc...maybe not concours resto stuff....but cheap enough if ya want to try to paint your car for the first time...this stuff is cheap...theres more than what this link shows, this is for 2 stage catylized clear and base...neat colors... http://www.paintforcars.com/urethane_base_clear_kits_5star.html
I bought a gallon of what they used to call pearl white (now I think they call it ice cream). I'm not sure what I did wrong, but after painting the jams, the clear came off in sheets. I decided to buy ppg paint from my local paint store and it worked great. I still have most of the base and clear left, it anybody wants to try it, shoot me an email and its yours for the asking. If your not local to Portland, you will have to pay the shipping. Maybe you will have better luck with it.
