Marco, I received my documentation from Wayne. What info did you need for the registry? I have it here at work, so I could just type it all in if you wanted.
Hi Shayne - Just double check the codes contained on the registry website Here, with the codes on the GS Historical Society document (like A1, B2, CC, DG, etc) I'll also need the dealer code. You can post here, PM or email me - Thanks!
OK, I looked at the registry and looks like we only missed a couple. I'll list all the ones from Waynes sheets that need added: F-2 (oversize whitewall tires) P-1 (carpet savers and handy mats) W-4 (protective body side molding) 2-0 (unknown) Anyone know what the 2-0 is for? The dealer number is: 09-252. I've was told by the previous owner that the car was purchased in S.W. Ohio. Wayne also gave me a Date of Invoice, 06-17-70, and an Invoice Amount of $3996.26. My trim number is 154, Sandalwood Vinyl Bench. I looked up through the rest of the registry and didn't see any others with this color. I have always wondered if the assembly plant had ran out of pearl interiors or if the dealer would have ordered the car exactly how they wanted it. I guess there is no way to find out. The story I was told was that the original owners wanted a convertible that could tow a boat and the salesman had this one on the lot. I'm the third owner and I've been thinking of trying to tracking down the original owners. I'd start with the guy I purchased from and see if he can help. Guess I got alittle wordy here for just a few option codes. thanks Marco
Shayne, After I replied to your other post about Tatone Buick, I read this post and decided to dig out my documentation from Wayne Roberts on my convertible. My GS was invoiced on 6-18-70 with an invoice amount of $3855.48. My GS is Seamist Green with a white top and pearl white interior. Small world! Larry
