65WILDKAT A PROUD FATHER OF THREE!

I am looking for a package tray for my 65 2 Door sport coupe Wildcat, Would a package tray from a 65 Impala be the same? Or Should I be looking at some thing from Pontiac of the same year? The roofline looks the same on some of the cars so I was just wondering. I made one but it warped and also I found out I had a small leak in my back window so I need a new one and the shop I used before Moved! :af:

    Hey Don,
I bought one of those Year One reproductions for an Impala a few years ago.
Had to do a bit of trimming at the sides near the window to make it fit right.
They sold two versions so be sure to specify the MESH style.
It looked pretty good but faded faster than I would've hoped.
The next one I get will be spray with Scotchguard UV barrier spray for fabric (available where you buy house curtains) before I put it in.

    Thanks,

Robert was it the same year 1965 and was it a SS fastback? or would a 66 SS be better? :Do No:
    Thanks for the tip! :TU:

    Both...

It works on either 65 or 66. You will want the Impala and SS 2-dr coupe MESH version, not the one for Caprice and Custom.
They have them in colors now!
Do a search for "Package Tray" in the Impala catalog HERE

BigBlock68 Love that old car smell.

Can someone tell me where to get the right package tray for a '68 GS?

I've looked everywhere but no one shows a good picture of their product. The original is that woven type, not mesh fabric, but is warped and has a nice hole where someone hacked into it.

This is great info. I need a package tray badly for my '65, and I thought the Impala would work. Now I know.

Goodbye shag-carpet covered, cheesy speaker grille package tray!
