I am shoppining around to replace the Oxy Acetylene torch kit I have. It's older than dirt, and it's time to replace it.
In ads for the kits, I see the term "Victor Compatible" or "Harris Compatible".
    What does this mean?
Type of valve on the tanks?

Granted, it's been 20+ years since I went to Vo-Tech for welding. I either have forgotten what it means, or I didn't show up that day.

Not sure....but, maybe it's similar to L.L. Bean plaid shirts coming with a label that says "Larry Compatible" or "Darryl Compatible"!!:Brow:  :Do No:

    Here it is...

You must've read my mind with this thread! I was just shopping for my first Oxy/Ace Torch and I, too, was wondering what that meant!
