well, looks like has me headed to Orlando for the next 10 weeks. Just seeing what members are around, cruises and show to go to. I'll be staying/living over by the University Central Florida. This is not my first time in Orlando as our training center is there, but this is the longest at one time I will be there.
I grew up down the road from UCF, I know Curtis Stanley lives in Orlando, he'll have more current info than I would. Been since 2009 the last time I was there.
There's usually a BOPC show in October. Don't know of anything this time of year except the regular cruise at Old Town every Sat night.. If anyone comes up with anything I'm game! I'm in St Pete/Clearwater area 90 miles away.
Old Town is in Kissimmee. its 5750 Irlo Bronson memorial hwy. If I remember correctly. Dont know the cruise schedule for sure. Used to be Friday night was newer cars and sat was 78 and earlier. I heard the place has new owners and were changing things up.
The Olds club of Central Florida had it's BOPC show there for over 20 years. Last year they wanted to charge so they had to move it.
Ya that was 2 yrs ago. First new place was the Ace Cafe' It wasnt even completed at that time but the show went on and last yr was, i believe at a park in a different city further south. I didnt go to either. I went to their show mostly for the venue as well as the opportunity to hang with some V* Buick guys. Won top 10 awards and several Best Buicks there over the years.

Usually 10-20 cars, sometimes more. And the food is good too. (I live withing walking distance of this one. Oh, yea. We have a good track out east of town off Hwy 50 called Speedworld. Been in operation since the mid 1960s. They run test and tune every Wed. and Friday and sanctioned events on the weekends. http://www.raceosw.com/dragway/
