Long story, but I just put Centerline Pro Stocks on all around- 8.5' rears and 7' fronts. 235 70 15s on the front and 275 60 15 M&Hs on the rear. The right front tire, when turning left and catching a bump just right, sometimes just catches the bottom front point of the wheel well moulding.

What is the diameter of the origional G 60s? I was thinking about trying 275 50 radials on the rear when the M&Hs are gone (won't be long). They are 26', I believe, while the 60s are 28'. With a 3:31 gear, some folks think I'll be a little quicker that way. I could match those up with 235 60s on the front- 26 ' all around- and cure the tire rub. But where would I be in relation to stock diameter?

Also, I would really appreciate input on BFGs vs. Nittos. I know the basic of the BFGs- heat 'em up and they're sticky, but they wear out quickly. What about Nittos? Also, someone told me BFG is coming out with a new compound. Anyone know anything? Many thanks.:eek2:

    Jack,
The original G60's were 26.44" tall, closest match is 245/60-15's which are 26.6". The 235's are 26.1", also a good match. If you stay within .5", speedo error and rear gear are close. Sounds like a good idea, you don't want to be rubbin:grin:

    uh oh..

I have 225-70's on 15x7 rims on mine, and I have no rub problems at all...
