I ordered a catalog from Original Parts Group 5-6 weeks ago, is it normal for them to be this slow?...Whats the deal here? Are they this bad when ordering parts too?

Why bother with a catalog? Just order your parts right from the website. It's a lot easier.:Smarty:

My catalog took 2 months to come in, but luckily the parts I ordered arrived in a more timely manner. I've been pretty lucky with them so far, only one item needed to be returned, and they credited my account after a little prompting.

By the time I got the catalog from them I ordered for my Olds, the car had already been totalled by a moron who hit me from the rear at 70 MPH. I ordered the catalog, waited about 2 months, and it showed up the week after the car got wrecked.

At one time it took many months to get a cat. from them. Based on my experience, their speed of orders being shipped and quality of service for returns or willingness to address problems does not compare with YO. Also I have found that when they have a sale so many of their items are deemed discount exempt the sale seems illlusory. They do have some good prices and carry some items I have not seen elsewhere.

I ordered a catalog 3x over a 7-8 month period. I had given up on OPGI then a catalog came in the mail. I gotta admit, it's a nice catalog with a lot more stuff than YO. There's some things that one catalog has that the other doesn't and vice versa.

Actually, after waiting for more than a year for a catalog from them, when it finally arrived I was pretty disappointed. Most of the stuff in there is speed gear I can buy at Kragen's along with my Playboy air freshener and ricer fart-pipe. None of us would be any worse off if OPGI never existed. The only thing I get special from them is a California sales tax and mediocre customer service. :moonu: :spank:

Well, I tried to call them today to see were the hell my catalog is, I couldn't get not one human on the phone...I was pissed when I had to buy one from Year One, but I guess thats why I did recieve it, I'll just try to get the things I need from them and be done with it.

A little word to the wise.DO NOT get the trunk fillers for your car! They are not the right ones and till they shipped it to me the price was over 67 bucks. They wanted to charge me a restocking fee to return it!I ended up taking a loss for it and used what I could to make it work.(about 1/2 of it) I had to cut it in 1/2 and fabricate the other piece myself. If I would have known that this would happen,I would have made one on my own.AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED,THEY GOT THE LAST OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
