With the black car down and apart again and waiting for the machinist I’ve decided to take the chance to correct small things while they’re east to get to. One of those things has been the dreaded blower motor repair. I’d long decided I didn’t need the blower motor running but fortune struck while at BG this weekend and I found a perfect AC box to replace mine which had been painted at some point in the past. upon cracking open the AC/Heater box halves I discovered the condenser had the original Harrison decal on it! I figured some of you all would appreciate the Harrison comparison -Jollygood
I see what you meant by the Original being completely embossed and aluminum foil material, nice find.
The decal on the AC box is usually on the inner part of the AC box. This is an original 72 decal and location. .
I think, the decal placement was sporadic, I’ve seen it in Atleast 4 different locations, the one JollyGood found was on the INSIDE OF THE BOX on the Condenser, That’s 5 places now.
