original Air Cleaner?

Is the air cleaner in the picture below an original for a 68 GS400? I was just wondering because mine didn't come with an original, it came with a small chrome air cleaner. I just want to replace mine with an original, and want to know what 1 looks like.

That is not an original '68 GS aircleaner that is pictured in that photo. An original '68 GS aircleaner is a single snorkle version with a 17" chrome lid. If you need a photo I can snap a picture of mine.

I believe the dual snorkle air cleaner you have now is for a 73-77 Chevy Laguna/Malibu SS. Those are some bucks to the right person.

 

Here is what an original '68 GS Air Cleaner looks like. The lid is approximately 17" dia.
