That is a typical radaitor also found from those years. The CF designates a different size passenger tank. The driver's side tanks are the the same as with an XS and thus they both are embossed with the leters IA. Thanks for looking and I am still in need.
As an alternative does anyone have an extra 70-71 radiator with the metal ID tag still clipped to it anfd the tag bearing the letters "SJ"?
Guy That code signifies I believe the combination of a CF size passenger side tank and an IA size drivers' side size tank on the 69-71 style top tank with the skylark dimension 3 core radiator. The spout sits on top with the mouth almost parallel to the ground. I have not looked at that tag for this but at least some tags bear the part number for that radiator combo as it appears in the assembly and parts manuals. I believe some non stage one GS 455 s and some non Stage one GSXs had that tank from the factory but this opinion is still subject to some further investigation. If you look at the 70 Assembly manual on page 11-4.3 in the upper left corner you wiill see a chart with the combination codes along with the corresponding GM part number.
