Opinions Wanted

    I finished tearing down the 455 today. She's down to the bare block now.

    All of the rod and main bearings looked pretty good, so I'm thinking I'll just throw in new ones and put it all back together.

    The cam bearings look really good.

    I can still see cross hatching in the cylinder bores, so my plan is to just hone them out, replace the piston rings, and go with it.

    The only thing I noticed that doesn't seem right is there is some what I would call "scoring" on a few of the lifters where they ride on the cam. The corresponding cam lobes look fine, so I may need to replace the lifters.

    What do you guys think? Sound good or would you go further with anything?
