    I'm boxing my lower control arms .
    2" welds with spaces or solid seam welds ?

    I would solid seam seld them myself. And don't forget the bushings in there by each sway bar hole.

    Thanks Phillip . I was thinking the same . I'm using 1/8"x3" flat stock . I used my old suspension bushing sleeves for the bolt holes for the sway bar mounts . I'll be posting the finished job in a few days . I'm taking my time on these .

    I used 1" square stock to box mine in the Regal. First I welded in the sway bar supports, then I welded the square stock in with 1 1/2" seams every 1". The uppers I used 1/4" flat stock with solid welds. Caution............. Do not have a brain cramp when changing these. They hurt real bad when they crack you in the eye.:mad:

    I would also solid weld them.
