Anybody modify their factory intake by cutting the dividers out,and opening up the plenum? Any results?
When I ran Olds motors, I got one of the first Performer RPM's that came out. I cut a gap in the plenum about 1.5" long by about 1" deep. I ground the name off and blasted it and no one could identify the intake. It did give me more mid range and top end power. Never tried it on a stock intake.
