Yes I finally did it!!! I finally ordered Globalwest Lower control arms to match the uppers. Oh yeah, GW springs, drop spindles, 1LE drilled and slotter rotors and SSBC alunimum dual piston calipers. Just missing one spindle. I cut it up to try to mount Wilwood calipers to it. Didn't work to well. I will go get a spindle this weekend and start assembly. I also ordered and installed 17" Crager Soft 8 wheels. 17x9 for the rear and 17x8 for the front. The rears got 295/40 BFG KDW's and a slight roll of the fender lip. The fronts wont get put on until after the conversion is done. I will try to post pix this weekend.

That sounds great. What size backspace is on those wheels? How well do they fit and any rubbing? Do they tuck inside the wheelwells well? I'm thinking of the same wheels for my Regal this summer.

The rears are 17x9 with 5" back spacing ( i think). I had to radius the inside of the rear fender (its a 69) but they look good. Again I will try to get pix's this weekend....

Sorry, life has gotten in the way. I will post some by the end of the weekend. I only had to roll the driver side 1/4 lip. There is about an 1 1/2 inches on the passanger side. I dont want to know...

All/most Gm axles are offset to one side.

Thats the reason my custom rims (measured on the passenger side for backspacing) rubbed the frame on the drivers side, made a nice squeak and took the new paint clean off.

Now, wanting to put 10" MT's, i will order a 9" posi and have it centered and custom made to my length to make the wheels fit.
