I measured a 455 olds intake and it is 14" across, my buick 350 intake is also 14" across. Is there any chance of a aftermarket olds intake fitting a SBB, for fuel injection purposes. I know it would need to be modified, but I thought it might be a option. Opinions?
Even if they are the same width, there's probably a lot of differences such as the angle where it meets the head, and the spacing of the ports. And then you have to worry about whether the water passages line up and the same for any exhaust passages in the manifold. But with a lot of time and money anything is possible, if you have the desire and time then mess with it to see what you can do with it, but if it was easy then it probably would've already been done.
why not use a buick intake i dont understand why you dont use a aftermaket buick intake like a t/a 350 your wasting your time trying make a olds fit on a buick.my 2 cents
