Visited a yard near Picton. Ontario with some fellow board members - "Stittsville Buick Boys" - about 30 acres of old iron dating back to the late thirties. Here are some of the Buicks we found. :beer

. . . Sadly there were no '66 - '70 Rivs to be found, nor any Boatails, and what Lark parts we did find were over priced !
Just a little male bonding for the " Stittsville Buick Boys" in the large Millhaven yard ! :bglasses: :TU:

    Thanks for sharing!

It looks like the big cars are more popular than the intermediates up there in Canada.

Randy, it looks to be a '68 Cat in picture 673. Would you be interested in checking the price & condition of the grill?? Especially the plastic inserts. '68 Cta & parts are hard to come by.
    Thanks,

    '68 Cat

    Hey Tom -
It is a '68, and as I recall there were two of them in the yard. The grill in pix 673 was complete and in fairly decent shape, but showing it's age with sun fade and some pitting, and would require rechroming for a pristine resto. Not sure what plastic inserts your refering to ? - all the grill pieces are cast white metal. The yard is about a 3 hour (one-way) drive away, and it's not likely I'll be back this year, but I might be able to contact the owner by phone to get you a gue$$timate if your interested.
You are quite right about '68 Cat parts, and I was surprised to find a fair amount of different years in this yard in varying stages of decay ! :beer :TU:

Yes Randy, if you don't mind. Or get me the phone number & the person to talk to. Thanks,

Randy the 9th picture looks like a 71/72 Electra. Cool, did you look inside? Also the '73 LeSabre without a hood in the 13th pic? And the '73 Electra 4-door in the 32nd pic? :Do No: Looks like it was a big yard with plenty of Buicks to show. :TU:

    '68 Cat

    Hey Tom -
I have contacted the owner to get a price on the cat grill - will lyk when he gets back to me. If you were refering to interior plastic parts in your 1st post, most were in poor shape, and some are even exposed to the elements.
At best they would require replating/refurbishing !
Cat parts don't excite me, cause I don't have one (anymore), and the same applies to Lark parts - my main interest is '66/'70 Riviera. However, thru the wisdom of the members of this site, I can appreciate and respect the interests of other Buick fanatics ! :TU:
