Is anybody familiar with Oklahoma Trailer Sales (OTS) near Calera, OK? If you are, do you know anything about the quality of their 18 and 20 foot open car trailers? They look pretty good on the website. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with OTS, but I do know of another one Terry's Trailer in OK (they have a website). Their prices are very good and trailers are very nice....diamond plate...ramps out the back..lights on the deck (for times in the dark strapping down the car)..also split dove tails. Just my .02

Thanks for the reply. I looked a Terry's website and liked what I saw. I will give them serious consideration when I purchase a trailer. If I could only find a way to get the trailer from Oklahoma to Florida without having to drive all the way to Oklahomato get it. Thanks again.

I live here in OKC. Just a few miles from Terry's Trailers. Don't know about OTS. Terry's is good. If there is one you are interested in at Terry's, I can go by and take a look for you, or pics if you'd like.

Thanks for the offer. When I get ready to buy, I may take you up on it. Have to wait to see how much I owe Uncle Sam and the IRS. If I have any money left I would like to buy the 20 footer with the box on the front that is on their website. What a good looking rig. Thanks again!

    Frank's custom trailers

Frank's Custom Trailers is another great place. My brother has been buying trailers from him for years. Another board member Todd Borland has one of his trailers through my brother. Real clean operation and one hell of a nice guy.:TU:

I started this thread a month and a half ago in an effort to locate an open car hauler. Jason and James suggested Terry's Trailer Sales in OC. I checked out their website and liked what I saw, but was a little leary of driving that far because past experience has taught me that items do not always look as good in person as they do on the web. Over the past several years I have found cars on the internet that looked like show cars. However, after driving hundreds of miles to look at them, they turn out to be real dogs, even the ones the owners describe as "choice" and "prime. But after looking around the internet, Terry's seemed to have the best looking haulers for the best price. Last Wednesday I set out for OC to purchase Terry's "Racers Special" a 20 foot open hauler with a box on the front. When I arrived at Terry's and they showed me the trailer I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the trailer everything it appeared to be on the website, it was a lot better. This trailer looks like a show trailer. Terry's does not use angle iron or C channel in the construction of their open car haulers. They are constructed with 5 inch tubing. These are heavy duty well constructed trailers. The trailers are also nicely finished with bright diamond plate. Terry's appears to go the extra yard in the construction of their trailers, taking no shortcuts and adding nice and convenient features. Terry's is also easy to deal with and are very accommodating. They will even custom make to your specifications the trailer you want. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend Terry's to anyone in search of an open car hauler. So James, Jason and P.D., thanks for your help and suggestions.

No Problem Randy, I've always been impressed with their trailers when they come down to the DFW area for a swap meet.
