The holiday season is here... anybody have any clue as to what they are getting their signifigant other? I have only a few ideas, but none are really good enough. So anybody have some ideas? The only thing I know I'm getting for her is a tachometer for her (sigh) Cavalier. I need some help from the pros.... Anybody?? :ball: :ball:
Yea, in the same boat over here. I cant buy her anymore speed parts cause we dont want to hit 11's. You can never go wrong with the basic's though, shiney trinkets, it puts them in a trance :eek2: good luck D.
Just picked up a Canon picture printer. Hooks up to the puter or with card from the digital camera. Makes 4x6 color prints. Should go along nicely with thee digital camera she got in September. Can't get her off the computer anyway, so it seems like a good choice. o No: Mark
Cant get her off the computer? I once joked to Beth about getting her a virtual cooking game :Brow: Man did I get the :spank: for that one ou: The picture printer was the way to go :TU: D.
If I could get away with it I'd get Jenny (my wife) a plasma cutter :TU:  :beer But instead I got her a nice leather jacket
A virtual cooking game. WOW, I like that. Betcha my wife could still burn the dinner. Actually, I do the cooking. Knew from the get go that her cooking was inedible. Great, so now instead of a mig welder she may get me cookware. ou: Mark
Why don't you want to hit 11's!? NHRA just moved the rollbar down to 11.49's. You've got a half-second to play with now. :TU:
Uh, Dana - I thought it was you guys that easily get distracted by bright shiney things? Tools, chrome pieces, etc.... p Sorry, couldn't resist! ShariB
picked up the one gig memory card for my fiance and her digital camera. She can take like 1000000 pictures with that!
Well, alrighty then........ :TU: Dana.............. Where's the Summit catalog. :Brow: and the credit card  Beth
Glad I could help. Here's the text of the rule rivision: Adjustment to E.T. requirements In a move designed to encourage more street vehicles to compete on the quarter-mile, NHRA has revised its requirements for roll bars, SFI Spec clutches, driveshaft loops, driver restraints, and certain protective clothing. An SFI 3.2A/1 jacket will be mandatory for all drivers in vehicles running between 10.00 to 11.49 seconds. On any car running 11.49 or quicker, a flywheel and clutch meeting SFI Spec 1.1 or 1.2 and a flywheel shield meeting SFI Spec 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, or 9.1 will be mandatory. A driveshaft loop will be required on all cars running 13.99 or quicker and utilizing slicks, except vehicles equipped with street tires running 11.49 or slower.
