Are there any potential problems with having a 69 430 engine that was changed to new lifters/pushrods for oilng through them to the stock rockers, and the oil passages to the heads were not plugged. My problem is with a 350 engine, but I will place the question for a 430 as it has the identical lubrication system. I was reading my Performance Engines book by Steven Dove, and he mentions that it should be one or the other method of lubricating the top end , but not both ways. Unfortunately he does not mention any potential problems of having both. My engine was put together this way and I am wondering what the consequences are. Thanks for any and all responses.

As long as your still getting decent oil pressure I wouldn't worry about it
