oil question?

    TXGS Paint by numbers 70 GS 455 4spd

    running thru the traps at about 80/90psi What is reccomended amout of oil to use. The current setup is a 9qt pan. using 9 quarts of oil at present time.

    I ran 7 QTS of 30 wt. Redline this past year.
    68/6900 RPM at the finishline w/ 95 PSI.
    The bearings all look like "day1" and are going back in the motor for '04.

    PS
    Pressure was always good even on deceleration.

    What are you running for an oil system? What about main and rod clearances? I'm sure there has been plenty of discussion on the board about the clearance topic. Thanks, Dennis
