Ok a few questons here, one I'm trying to install an oil pressure gauge I found at my grandpas house. It's new never been opened. It's made by Pentron and I think they went out of business. The instructions say 1987 so it's pretty old. It says I need to put a new sender unit on which is included. I can't locate the original sender on the car. I looked in my shop manual but they don't say where it is from where I skimmed through. Where is the oil sending unit located on a 1976 455? I included a pic too! The gold thing is the sender that screws in somewhere.

Look right above the oil filter on the passenger side.
