oil mods for 72 455 block and timing cover?

I just picked up a complete 72 455 and I want to build a strong motor 600hp or so.

What mods do I need to do to the block to make it oil good? I want to use the stock timing cover if possible and save $500 over the TA one.Is this possible? If so what mods does it need?
