I put sway bars on the ol convert a few weeks ago and finally ran thru the first tank. WOAH! from no rear sway bar and factory front to 1-1/4" front and 1" rear. the thing corners as flat as a Civic now. cept now if i turn hard right or left it seems the tires now rub on something. but I also have pretty wide tires. when i got them I thought the size I picked up was too big since i have a convertible and they're more flexable than a HT but seems to really like the bars. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Hey Nate, where did you get the bars from? Thinking about doing the :bglasses: same.

I added boxed rear arms, and 1 3/8 front and rear bars on the Sportwagon. A night and day difference. I used HO racing matched bars. Tony

as tony said night and day diffrence. I also noticed a diffrence just boxing the arms.

I also boxed the rear arms. (make sure to put in a spacer around the holes first)

I got the bars at OPGI they're 79 bucks a piece. heck of a deal IMHO. there may have been a few bucks more saved on that too buying the set of them.

what sux though is the hardware included with the OPGI rear bar did not come with hardware long enough to bolt up. and i needed two -1/8" thick spacers for mine in the rear. but did come with some overly strong spacers for inside the rear arms if you don't box the arms in advance. so a trip to the hardware store for some grade 8 bolts will be inorder.
I do need to shim the front polyurathane mounts about 1/8-1/4 inch the bar rubs slightly on the frame and is REALLY close to the steering box. there is enough bolt length with the factory bolts that hold the front sway bar mount to the frame.
