Up until tonight I just assumed my '55 Special had the same 322 Nailhead that my prior '55 Super had. I was at a local cruise tonight, and ran into a few old timers from the local BCA chapter. They swear the Special only came with the 264. o No: Other then the obvious (running the #'s which I will do later in the week) does anyone know off hand?
All '54 & '55 Specials came with a 264/2bbl. carbed engines. No HP enhancements, no dual exhaust on any '55's.
