Kerry I can say yes to all of them cept one, the Camaro The Pont Firebird was a 455 THe White wagon a 455 The Little blue car was a GEO METRO and was powered by a Single turbo V-6. ( ran 10's at over a 140mph) Both the Red and White Mazda were GN powered, ( the red one is a popular one on the TURBOBUICKS.COM board (misred is his call name) The Green Shyhawk a Small block (I Think) Later
That Geo Metro was fun to watch . The run I saw him make Fri. was amazing, it got a bit sideways so he had to back out of it and still ran a low 10's.
I smoked over the red TA while there and can say that was a neat job!!! Guess that was the wagon that later lost its hood on Sat.
I saw him hook up for 1 good run but don't remember what he ran. Did u get a close look at that geo? all tub & tire in the back! just enough room for a driver inside. Those turbo cars sure were quick but most sounded like VW motors on steroids  But it's hard to laugh at a 7 second run :eek2:
bill andersons car sounded impressive. i've seen the s16 turbo car "underdog" go 7.80s back to back anyway he almost lost control on saturday and just barley missed smashing into the wall. it was deffinatly a close one. bob
I have no interest in those rice burners I was suprised to see a few Chevy's running, I could put an 800 Hp BBB in a Toyota and it's still gonna be a Toyota. If they want to run against a Buick let em but they should have the drivetrain from that manufacturer. At least the chevy's are GM products. This is just my opinion and the organizers can do as they please. All in all it was a good time and I'll be Back next year. :3gears: Later
Glad someone said something. i saw this post a day or two ago and was wondering why he was posting pics of Chevy's and rice. That is one neat geo.
