Numbers matching ?

    Hello all,
    Im new to this site and was looking for some help. I recently purchased a 67 Skylark convertible and it has an Olds 455 in it. How can i find out what engine was original to this car?

    Post the first 7 digits of the VIN and a photo of the data tag...someone will be able to figure it out from there (probably).

    I would think either a 300 or 340 V8. Some of the Specials had a V-6 I believe.

    Thank you. I have found all the info stating it was a V8 but not which one.
